IRMPPC Charge
The
Information Resource Management Policy and Planning Committee is advisory
and reports to the President. The committee is charged with the ongoing
assessment of strategic plans and policies related to the campuswide management
and use of existing and planned information systems and services. Specific
functions include assessing strategic plans, establishing goals and objectives,
assessing needs, providing recommendations on resource allocations and
management of resources, and providing recommendations on implementation
strategies. The committee has three standing sub-committees: the Administrative Advisory Committee on Computing, the Instructional Advisory Committee on Computing, and the Student Campus Computing Committee (SC3). Ad hoc sub-committees will be established as deemed necessary.

representative of the instructional college deans nominated by the Dean's
Council through the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs
- Three
faculty members who have a professional interest and expertise in information
systems, two of whom will be appointed by the President in consultation
with the Chair of the Academic Senate. The third faculty member will
be nominated by the Academic Senate. Appointments will be for three
years with faculty eligible to serve two terms.
- One
student member nominated by the President of the ASI for a one year
term.
Meetings
At least
quarterly during the academic year and on call of the chair.
